Greetings

This blog is a record of the wine that I make and drink. Each flavour made and each bottle drunk will appear here. You may come to the conclusion that, on the whole, I should be drinking less.

An Apology

Hello Anyone who keeps up with my blog (I know there are a few - I have looked up Wasilla, Alaska on the map and explored it via Google StreetView.) You will have noticed that I have been dilatory of late in keeping up with this blog. I don't know if this is a permanent state of affairs, or a temporary blip. But I have started seeing this as a chore. I may take a break for a while, or I may wake up on Friday with renewed vigour. Bear with me for the moment - I hope that normal service will be resumed.

In the meantime, here is a picture of the house I grew up in.

  4. I just found you via Lovely Greens, and I live your writing and your blog. I so do hope that you continue on with it. I understand though, I too have a blog and have “abandoned “ it for about 2 months as it was losing its joy. I’m over in the US/Texas and look forward to reading more of your blog-perhaps we both just need renewed inspiration, perhaps a new writing angle or project.
    Blessings to you and yours!

    1. Hello Kat - thank you. I will start up again (and I am just back from a week away). I suspect it will be sometime before I am regular again, though. There will be some bottles that go by the wayside. I do still keep my diary, of course.

  6. Just wanted to say that I have been following your blog for quite a while now from Boston, USA and you've really inspired me to experiment with some strange wines. I do hope you keep it up, but I understand everyone needs a break now and again.
